HOST A BIRTHDAY FUNDRAISER
Want to use your birthday for good? Host a virtual birthday fundraiser through Facebook. With just minutes of your time, you can raise hundreds of dollars for our mission. Now, you can easily create a successful fundraiser using our shareable content that comes with copy and our step by step directions. Let’s get started!

Go to your Facebook Account or create one here! Then go to the home page and click “Fundraisers” on the left side column.

Click “Select Nonprofit” and then choose MICAH House.

Now, select how much money you want to raise (you can change this later) and when you want your fundraiser to end.
** We suggest starting with a $200 fundraising goal and increasing it later if needed.**
Now, you are ready to get to fundraising. Don’t forget to thank each donor and tag MICAH House in each post! Keep scrolling for content ideas to use on your fundraiser to encourage your friends to give.

Family Shelter
Unlike most shelters, MICAH House offers guests secure and private rooms that allow families to stay together. Families of up to 10 people have a space that they can call their own.
MICAH House offers safety and security to those who need it most. Your donation will help provide shelter to families and women during a difficult time in their lives.

Children are the future -- and we need to make sure that we are doing whatever we can to make their futures possible.
From assessments to ensure they are meeting milestones to a special play program that allows them to just be kids -- they are some of the most important guests at MICAH House. 🤸♀️ 🧘♀️ ⛹️♂️
🍪 MICAH House is also the only shelter in Iowa/Nebraska to have a Girl Scout Troop.
